Move types in PokéSurvivor

Which move types hit the Pokémon that spawn as enemies hardest, with the type chart and the weather from the game code.

How types work here

  • The type chart is softer than in the Pokémon games: super effective ×1.6 (×2.4 against both types), not very effective ×0.6 (×0.36 against both) and, where there would be an immunity, ×0.3.
  • A single-type Pokémon deals 20% more damage with moves of its type. Dual-type Pokémon get no such bonus.
  • Your moves fire on their own at whatever is close: you don't pick a move for each enemy. That is why what matters is how each type hits on average against all of them.

Each type against the enemies

Against the 862 Pokémon that spawn as enemies, each counted once. Every run draws 7 species at random from each stretch of time.

Average: the type chart multiplier, averaged over all of them. Super effective and Resisted: the share it hits for more or less than ×1. Early: the enemies of the first 2:40; late: those that spawn from 6:20 on. No weather and no single-type bonus.

The most common types among enemies: Water (139), Normal (113), Grass (111), Flying (89).
